Conversations First
Whether you are telling your story via a memoir or a cookbook, we will start the process with a conversation. What story do you want to tell? What is your objective? Who are you telling the story for? Who is your audience? We will do this with an initial interview before you sign the contract. This will help us to ground the intent and meaning behind the story.
Shaping Your Story
Once the contract is signed, we'll begin a series of personal interviews, gradually exploring your story at your own pace, with check-ins along the way to ensure we're capturing your story in your voice. This will be an entirely personal experience—no AI or templates will distort your voice, while we prioritize confidentiality and care in your conversations.
Photographs can be added, as long as they meet specific criteria for quality publication. We will review your picture selections with you, offer suggestions on how to handle those that do not meet the requirements, and work with you on the appropriate placement of the photographs to match the story. You will provide the photographs from your personal collection.
A Lasting Heirloom
An artisan-quality heirloom book (quantity based on the chosen package) will be delivered to you after review and revisions are finalized. This custom-crafted book will be more than just a book; it will be a timeless legacy—a treasured heirloom that captures your voice, wisdom, and spirit for future generations.
Our service is not intended to be a “book for publication” platform. We will publish the book under your name as the author, keeping the copyright with you. However, it is not meant for distribution or sale. You can buy additional copies from BYM. If you wish to make the book available for publication, you can choose the publication add-on package, and we will handle those needs separately, with adjustments to the package as necessary.
